The Singapore National Heart Centre is one of many sites in the South East Asian region where the Jacques IP Communication System can be found. Jacques Singaporean distributor Ascendo handled this project.

This non-for-profit healthcare institution in Singapore treats over 100,000 patients each year, providing comprehensive preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative cardiac services. It is vital for such sites to have a comprehensive communication system, especially with hundreds of staff and thousands of patients at any given time.

Jacques supplied a video intercom system for this site, featuring detailed event triggered functions and integration to access control. Approximately 10 video monitor stations (VMS-750) were installed for reception and ward areas. These monitor stations were connected to around 15 video entrance stations (VES-741) positioned throughout the hospital at various entrances, some with access controlled key entry. Only authorised personnel were able to enter restricted areas. With the missed caller snapshot feature, staff at the video monitor stations were able to access snapshots of any caller that may have attempted to access these areas. The reporting software provides a detailed and accurate report of the live activities across the Jacques IP Communication System.
